Peter Gustafsson international Pro-am Costa del Sol – Costa del Golf 2018

Peter GustafssonBuilding on the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event, The Peter Gustafsson International Pro-Am has grown in stature and prestige. With the support of Visit Costa del Sol, entries have increased from 17 teams competing last year to 36 teams this year. Amateur players will be paired with some of the European Tour’s finest golfers for three rounds of thrilling golf action taking place at Finca Cortesin, La Reserva and Marbela GC Resort. Players such as Joakim Lagergren, David Lynn, Johan Edfors and Pelle Edberg are amongst the European tour players to accept their invitations and confirm their participation already. The amateur players will not only spend time on the course with their players, but during each evening, fun events include dinners, poker nights and a chance to watch the Masters Golf on TV alongside some players who have played in the event.

Costa del solThe amazing Andalusian tour standard golf courses will host the golfers where the professionals will be competing for a prize fund of €30.000. Amateurs will be competing for some incredible prizes such as weekends away, golf equipment and much much more. With the support of Visit Costa del Sol we want to grow the event into a highlight on the Andalusian Golfing calendar. Hopefully in years to come we can grow to be as big as the Alfred Dunhill and attract the best players in the world to the costa del Sol to entertain the local golfing fans and to secure the reputation of the Costa del Sol as a premier golfing destination.
