The Plaza Antonia Guerrero will be the stage, for the 4th Estepona Cheese Fair ‘Popi, Sabor a Málaga’, an initiative promoted by the Town Hall and the professional ham cutter, José María Téllez ‘Popi’, with the collaboration of Málaga’s provincial government through the promotional brand ‘Sabor a Málaga’ (Flavour of Malaga).
This fair, runs from the 14 to 16 December and is open to the public from 12 noon to 9 pm, and aims to promote and highlight the great quality and variety of cheeses and dairy products produced by the participating companies, 80% of which come from the province of Malaga.
The presence of the “Sabor a Málaga” brand for gourmet products of national and international origin helps to strengthen the brand as a benchmark of quality for consumers, in addition to serving this event as a tool to promote Estepona.
There will be over 30 stands providing visitors to the fair with the opportunity to sample a large number of cheeses and dairy products. Although cheese will be the star product of the fair, there will be other products such as wine, oil, nuts, olives, pickles or pâté, so the event will be a gastronomic market ideal for that special treat for the Christmas season.
