The lineup for this year’s Fuengirola Pop Weekend has been announced, with some of the best local bands and DJs performing over the weekend of 17 to 19 July 2014.
This is the seventh edition of this celebration of popular music which has become a major fixture on the Coast’s busy summer schedule of live music.
Opening the weekend on Thursday 17 July are the ever popular Free Soul Band who play the welcome party.
On Friday 18 July the festival begins in earnest with The Imperial Surfers, Zombie Valentines, Briatore, Poorhouse Rockers Soundsystem, Freddie DiLevi, and Los Tsunamis, along with DJs Guillermod, Sabinillas Dancingmood, Carlito Brigante, and Kike Kanalla spinning the vinyl.
Saturday’s lineup features the Paul Collins’ Beat, La Granja, Fila India, Goodfellows, and Smoking Victims, with DJs Kurt Baker, Jomi Beat, Toni Fontana, and Dani Peluso.
There is also an afternoon session on Saturday 19 with Kurt Baker, Mawino, and Betamax providing the music.
