Estepona Floral Art Club – February 2014

Estepona Floral Art Club – February 2014

Estepona Floral Art Society

Estepona Floral Art Club will be holding its next flower arranging demonstration on Tuesday 18th February from 3.15 pm to 5 pm at Tikitano’s Beach and Restaurant, Estepona. The demonstrator will be Stephen McDonnell, NAFAS Area Demonstrator from Brighton, E. Sussex.  He is the winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013 Best Floral Arrangement (Session 2), so his demonstration promises to be spectacular and at the forefront of floral design.  The audience will not only learn how to create beautiful floral art displays, but can also pick up valuable insider hints and ask for tips on flower care and arranging.

This will be an enjoyable, sociable event for anyone who is interested in flowers, fun and friendship, and visitors are welcome to join the Club members for lunch at Tikitano’s before the demonstration.  Please call Tikitano’s directly on 952 79 84 49 to make your reservation, and state that you are attending the flower club demonstration.  There is ample parking.
For those people who are inspired to have a go at flower arranging, Stephen McDonnell has kindly agreed to lead a workshop on the following Friday, 21st January, from 11am until 2pm, also open to both members and visitors.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn flower arranging techniques from an expert.  Please see below for contact details if you wish to attend.

Established over 10 years ago, Estepona Floral Art Club is a very friendly club on the Costa del Sol, Spain, with members and visitors from Nerja to Gibraltar.  Once a month there is a flower arranging demonstration, where spectacular displays are created live on stage.  There are workshops for those who want to learn practical skills, coffee mornings and special events.  Members and visitors are most welcome to attend and do not need any prior knowledge of flowers or flower arranging to enjoy the Club’s events.  Members are of different nationalities but all meetings are in English.
