During September, Guaro becomes a focal point for Andalucian music and culture, celebrating the historical and cultural relationship between the three dominant influences of the Middle Ages in the town: Islam, Christianity, and the Sephardic Jews.
With the only lighting coming from some 25,000 candles Arabo-Andalucian-Sephardic music from five centuries ago takes to the streets and squares of this town.
In the main square of the medieval souk, lit only with candles, artisans dressed in Moorish costume offer their wares from dusk until dawn.
The cost of the trip is 12 euros per person and those interested can book their places on 952 89 35 48 or 619 874 645.
The coach leaves at 7.30 pm from Castillo and 7.45 pm from Sabinillas, and returns at around 2 am.
