The evening of 17th June will begin on the Sabinillas Stage (La Noria) at 8pm. The event will be opened by Council representatives with delegations of equality and foreign residents. There will be 3 acts on this stage, Dúo Garal! (Diva Garal is a singer and artist from Malaga with a very long history and a wide variety of styles ranging from soul to Hip Hop! She is supported by a LIVE trombonist and trumpeter Sergio Pino), Hoffman (a singer from Malaga and know as the Aristocrat of Music and will be premiering his 2017 Tour ´Tributo´ at the Cervantes theater in Malaga). There will also be a dance performance from the local Escuela Municipal de Expresion Corporal.
At 9pm there will be a parade comprising of two floats (a Manilva Pride Float and an ADANA float) also a 20 meter long rainbow flag (we are looking for volunteers to carry the flag) along with various sponsoring business vehicles, dancers and paraders on foot, from Sabinillas to the Main Stage in the middle level of Duquesa Port.
At 10pm the acts on the main stage will begin, The acts are Steptastic (Steps tribute act from Glasgow), Michael Marouli (of UK X-Factor and Sparkles Show Bar Gran Canaria fame), Fruela (Spanish X- Factor and Spanish Eurovision contestant), Rebeca Moss (Spanish Artiste and singer of the Spanish Pride Anthem Don’t Stop), Conor McKenna (TOWIEs Sugar Hut Club fame and BBCs new TV Show Pitch Battle), Frank Skott a local published artiste from Sweden, Ashley Bloor a local singer from the UK and the Costa Del Sols Cover Girls Comedy Drag Show staring Frankie Payas of UK X-factor fame as Kitti Litta along with various podium & fire dancers. There will be a number of outdoor bars for food and drink and Association stands including that of Colega and Andalucia Diversidad offering support and advice.
There is an active Facebook page – @ManilvaPride which keeps people up-to date with sponsorship and acts. The event will be completely bilingual with acts and announcements in both English & Spanish.
There will be a warm-up launch party on Friday 16th June at Mirror Mirror from 9pm with Live Music and Entertainment.
There will be a Cool-down party on Sunday 18th June at Mirror Mirror with Guitarist and Vocalist Steve Anderton Live in the Mirror Mirror Courtyard from 7pm.
For such a small town the event has seen a huge amount of love and support from all the event’s sponsors, donations from local businesses and residents and of course the Manilva Town Council.
