Police dismantle a radar system used by drug traffickers to detect police movements

RadarOfficers of the Spanish National Police have dismantled a radar system involving two antennas, which allowed a drugs gang to monitor the movements of police patrols and surveillance helicopters and provide realtime intelligence to vessels waiting offshore allowing them to safely land their cargoes of hashish on local beaches.
The operation led raids on 18 addresses: 16 in La Linea, one in Manilva and one in Estepona and the arrest of 10 people,the seizure of 4 firearms, 3 boats, a number of off-road vehicles and more than 50,000 euros in cash.
