At the “III Tennis Copa de Naciones” held in Estepona earlier the month the Spanish boys were overall winners in the male category, having been unbeaten throughout the contest. The Portuguese took the girls trophy.

The Nations Cup is held annually in Estepona and is contested by Under 11s, both boys and girls, with this year the participating countries being Spain, Ireland, Portugal and Italy.

Apart from the tournament there are a number of activities including a tennis clinic, which this year was given by former Spanish Davis Cup Captain, Javier Duarte.

Particular congratulations go to up and coming tennis star Virginia Peña from Mallorca who at just ten years old won the girls competition.
