II Marbella International Film Festival

Michael AngelisMichael Angelis the famous face of many films, whose role as Chrissie Todd in the award winning series "Boys from the Black Stuff" brought him fame and recognition is to attend the opening of his latest film "Fated" to be screened at Marbella International Film Festival.

Michael, whose list of credits in films and TV includes “ Casualty, The Bill, Lovejoy, The Professionals, Bergerac, , A Touch of Frost, The Liver Birds" and many more, will be at the opening ceremony of the Marbella International film festival on Friday 5th October.

The Marbella International Film Festival provides an artistic opportunity for independent international talent within the worlds of cinema, visual and performance art. The event offers the opportunity for independent artists to ingratiate themselves within the commercial world of entrepreneurs, financiers and sponsors. Only the highest calibre of independent artistic work is selected for exhibition.

There are no boundaries for the talented. The festival will present works from Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The events of the festival are spread over several days. Such events include film premieres, music, dance, art exhibitions, workshops, lectures, fashion shows and gala evenings. The Marbella Film Festival, held annually, is a much anticipated and very unique part of the Marbella social calendar. The festival is proud to contribute a touch of high artistic culture to the cosmopolitan chic of the season.

The upcoming 2007 Marbella Film Festival, which will be held from 5th to 7th October, promises to be an elegant array of extraordinary independent art.
