Motor racing returns to Estepona with the VIII Estepona-Puerto de Peñas Blancas Hill Climb

Some of Spain’s best drivers will gather in Estepona on the weekend of 11, 12 and 13 March for the eighth edition of the Estepona-Puerto de Peñas Blancas Hill Climb, part of both the Spanish Hill Climb Championship and the Andalucian Championship.

The weekend begins on Friday 11 March when the teams gather at Estepona’s Sports and Fairground from 3 pm  for technical inspections and verifications after which the public are invited to view the vehicles.

On Saturday 12 March the Estepona – Peñas Blancas Pass road will be closed from noon with the first practice session beginning at 1.30 pm, with the second at 3 pm. The racing begins at 5 pm after which the vehicles return to the Fairground around 7 pm.

On Sunday the road will be closed from 8.30 am, with practice at 9.30 am. The final two races begin at 11 am and 12.30 pm with the prizegiving at 2.30 pm.

Spectators are welcome providing they follow the instructions of the marshals and race organisers.
