On Saturday, October 26, Estepona will host its III Vespas and Lambrettas Rally.
Organized by the Vespasianus Estepona Sports Club in collaboration with the Town Hall, the rally is primarily aimed at classic and modern Vespa, Lambretta, LML and Scomadi motorcycle riders and companions, with or without sidecar, including mopeds and classic motorcycles.
The main purpose of this event is to promote motor tourism, with the tourist promotion of the town and the surroundings of Sierra Bermeja. Likewise, the event contributes to the dissemination, knowledge and conservation of this type of vehicles.
‘The Bermejera Ride Out’, with a length of 102 kilometres, will depart at 10 pm from the Plaza Antonia Guerrero, with the return to Estepona scheduled at about 2.30 pm. The event will conclude with a raffle, lunch and award of various prizes.
The day will begin at 9 am with registration and delivery of welcome packs, after which theriders will parade up calle Terraza the on to calles 14 de Diciembre, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, Ebro, Tajo, San Juan, prolongación Cristo Reyup to the José Tomás roundabout, Avenida Juan Carlos I and up to the industrial estate along Avenida José Martín Ménde to the Casares Road, where the tour will continue through Gaucín, Algatocín, Jubrique and return to Estepona, arriving by Avenida de los Reales, through avenida Andalucía, calle San Fernando, up avenida José Martín Méndez until calle Hermanos Marcos Simón, where the route will finish.
The registration period, limited to 120 participants, will remain open until October 21.
