The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez and the councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Antonio Barragán, have made a tour of Manilva’s three urban centres to check the progress of the existing works and the projection of others that will begin soon.
In this year 2017, the municipal officials confirm the completion of new important infrastructure that will improve the day to day life of the public and make more comfortable their transit, parking of vehicles and the organization of areas that were poorly structured.
According to Barragán, he has already signed one of the last certificates so that the Plaza Geneva can be opened to the public soon. It is expected that in February it is in perfect condition to be enjoyed. It has opened the space and enabled the entry and exit of vehicles. In addition, as an important note, entrepreneurs will have a better environment in which to operate.
The redevelopment of Plaza Geneva will have parking for 50 vehicles.
Jimenez and Barragan also reviewed the works in the roundabout of Avenida Manilva before moving to Castillo de la Duquesa to examine the refurbishment works in the Castle. Work is progressing well will serve to improve the state of one of Manilva’s historical architectural jewels.
