The fair includes a food market where visitors can taste and purchase a wide range of local products, in addition there will be a wine contest for locally produced wines. All this accompanied by Christmas entertainment.
The I Gastronomic Fair opens at 9.30 am on Friday with entrants for the wine contest received between 10 am and 12 noon. From 2 pm visitors will be invited to enjoy a traditional stew, after which at 2.30 pm the jury will award the prizes for the wine contest.
At 5.30 pm the Municipal Theatre School will entertain the audience, and at 7.30 pm there will be a ceremonial switching on of this year’s Christmas illuminations.
There will be a musical performance at 8 pm followed by another at 10.30 pm.
On Saturday 9 December the food market will open at 10.30 am, there will be a number of different activities and workshops available throughout the day, as well as musical entertainment
At 2 pm a giant paella will be served to visitors and at 5 pm there will be a pastry contest.
Later in the evening there will be a concert to round off the I Gastronomic Fair “Taste of Manilva”.
