As a result of the local referendum earlier this year in which residents voted to restore the three traditional local ferias instead of the combined feria introduced in recent years, this weekend sees the first of these, which will be held in Castillo de la Duquesa as part of the Virgen del Carmen celebrations on Sunday.
As a result there will be no market this Sunday 16 July, and Monday 17 July is a local holiday.
