The Estepona Town Band presents a traditional Christmas Concert with a programme of “Classics and Christmas Music” directed by José Antonio López Camacho. Entry is free.
7.30 pm Living Nativity in Estepona presented by the Residents Association of Nueva Atalaya and installed in Avda San Lorenzo on the site of the old Tourist Office.
Monday 22 December
7 pm Magic from Hogwarts – Estepona’s culture department presents ‘Magic from Hogwarts’ by the Espectáculos Lorca company on Monday 22 December from 7 pm in the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre.
The show takes us to Dome 8 in Hall No 4 of the most famous school of magic in the world, where Professor Dexter and apprentice magician Petter Fons treat the audience to an evening of fun and fantasy, with lots of opportunity for children in the audience to participate.
Tickets: Adults 8 euros in advance, 10 euros on the door; Children 6 euros in advance, 8 euros on the door. Tickets are available from Sambra Bookshop and Musisol Instruments in Estepona, or call 609 900 462 to book.
7 pm Enthroning of the Baby Jesus in the Nativity in Plaza Antonia Guerrero, by the reverand D. Pedro Villarejo, Parish priest from San José church.
Friday 26 December
8.30 Concert in the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre with music by Los Birituqui´s, a group formed by young profession musicians from Estepona interpreting a wide repertoire of music from classical to pop, by way of flamenco, soundtracks and Christmas music. Entry 3 euros.
Saturday 27 December
8 pm Christmas Flamenco Concert in the Plaza de Reloj. Ana Fargas and her group comprising Paco Javier Jimeno, Chico Fargas, David Quirós, David Jimeno, José María Benírez and Zuri present a programme of Andalucian Christmas carols, and other Christmas themed music.
Wednesday 31 December
11 pm New Year’s Eve Party in the Plaza del Reloj, with music, fireworks, and the ringing in of the New Year from the bell tower.
Saturday 3 January
12 noon Children’s theatre in the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre. The Pirueta Theatre Company present “En busca de los Reyes Magos” (In search of the Wise Kings). The famous detectives Gómez y González enter the fascinating world of the Orient to solve the mystery of the Three Kings with the help of the children of Estepona.

Sunday 4 January
6 pm The Three Kings’ Herald sets out from the front of the Parroquia del Carmen church arriving at the Plaza Antonia Guerrero at 7 pm to be received by the Mayor and to read the Royal Edict.
Monday 5 January
11 am Children’s Party welcoming the Three Kings at the Recinto Ferial (fairground).
5 pm Three Kings Cavalcade accompanied by the Municipal Town Band, Camels, and the usual tons of sweets!
The procession begins at the Hercules Roundabout at the junction of Avenida España and Avenida Andalucia (near the San Jose School); Avenida Andalucia; Avenida Juan Carlos I, Avenida España, Calle Terraza; ending up in Calle Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente.
8 pm The Three Kings will then go to Plaza Antonia Guerrero where they will receive the children’s cards. They will then visit various housing estates in the town.
