Once again Estepona is holding its annual Foreign Residents Day festival on Sunday, 15th April.
The festival, which is being held in the Palacio de Congresos is always popular with residents and visitors alike and a packed programme of entertainment is promised this year.
The festival, celebrates Estepona’s diverse foreign communit, who take the opportunity to show off their traditions, culture, entertainment and cuisine. Also present are a number of local associations, clubs and charities catering to a wide range of interests and needs.
Here is the programme for this year’s event. Please bear in mind that it is subject to changes and the timings are approximate.
12 noon – Opening ceremony
12.30 pm – Las Paraguayitas of Estepona
1.00 pm – La Milana Dance School
1.30 pm – Belly dancing by the Iplacea Dance School
2.00 pm – Performance by the Municipal School of Dance
2.30 pm – Traditional Brazilian Music and Dance
2.50 pm – Servolucion Dance Group
3.10 pm – Billy Robbins sings Sinatra
3.30 pm – Los Paraguayos guitar group from Marbella
3.45 pm – Traditional Argentinean songs by Alejandro Iaconi
4.00 pm – Costa Kickers line dancing group
4.20 pm – Colin and Natalie perform modern jive
4.40 pm – Municipal Dance School
5.00 pm – Colombian Dancing
5.15 pm – Club Ruiz Dojo and Dance
