Estepona FeriaEstepona celebrates its annual Summer Fair this week from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 July. Most of the action takes place in and around the Fairground situated just off of the Estepona bypass, behind the football stadium.

Programme of events for the Estepona Summer Fair. All events are free entry except where otherwise stated.

Tuesday 5 July

7 pm: Traditional parade of ‘Giants and Bigheads’ through the town centre. Leaving from the Colegio Victor de Serna school.
9 pm: Coronation of the Feria Queens and their attendants followed by  performance by local singer “Canito”, accompanied by Jose Fernandez on guitar and with dancing by Rocío Cabrera and José Galván on the Paseo Maritimo by the roundabout at the bottom of Avda Juan Carlos I.
There will then be a fireworks display on La Rada beach to open the Summer Fair.
12 midnight: Inauguration of the fairground and funfair with the Estepona Town Band.
12.30 am: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band ‘Dynamic’ in the Municipal pavillion.

Wednesday 6 July

12.30 pm: Day Fair at the Fairground.
1.30 pm: Performance in the Municipal pavillion by the Estepona Flamenco association School with dancing by Antonio Trujillo and María Vega accompanied on guitar by José Fernández.
6.30 pm: Children’s party in the Municipal pavillion including snacks, chocolate fountain, and a children’s entertainment group.
Children’s day at the feria with all fairground rides half price.
9.30 pm: Performance of Latin Dancing and Flamenco by the Maribel Garcia and Monica Peña Dance Schools.
10.30 pm: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band in the Municipal pavillion.
12.30 am: Flamenco Pop concert with Maria Artes. Free entrance.

Thursday 7 July

12.30 pm: Day Fair at the Fairground.
1.30 pm Ballroom, Cabaret, Oriental, Contemporary and Flamenco Dance shows from the Marivi Rodriguez and Claudia Ramirez Dance Schools in the Municipal Pavillion.
9.30 pm: Dance performances by the Lourdes Barrientos and Lourdes Bazan Dance Academiesin the Municipal pavillion.
10.30 pm: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band in the Municipal pavillion.
12.30 pm: Concert by the Tarifa band Los Rebujitos in the municipal pavillion.

Friday 8 July

12.30 pm: Day Fair at the Fairground.
1.30 pm: Performance by the dance studio ‘La Milana’ in the municipal pavillion.
9.30 pm: Performances by the Eva Alarcon Flamenco Academy and the Laura Perea School of Modern Dance.
10.30 pm: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band in the Municipal pavillion.
12.30 pm: Concert by singer/songwriter El Canijo de Jerez in the municipal pavillion.

Saturday 9 July

12.30 pm: Day Fair at the Fairground.
12.30 to 6 pm: Horse show at the Fairground.
1.30 pm: Performance in the Municipal pavillion by the Estepona Flamenco association School with dancing by Antonio Trujillo and María Vega accompanied on guitar by José Fernández.
7 pm: Grand Cavalcade through the Fairground.
9.30 pm Performances by the Marivi Rodriguez Ballroom Dance Academy; Flamenco and Modern Dance with Claudia R. Rodriguez, and the ‘La Milana’ Dance Academy.
10.00 pm: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band in the Municipal pavillion.
12.30 pm: Concert by the singer Edurne in the municipal pavillion.

Sunday 10 July

12 noon: Horse show at the Fairground.
12.30 pm: Day Fair at the Fairground.
1.30 pm: Dance performance by the Martina Tessaro Dance School in the Municipal pavillion.
9.30 pm: Flamenco performance by the Ana Guerrero Dance Academy.
10.30 pm: Music and dancing into the early hours of the morning with the resident band in the Municipal pavillion.
