Estepongo IIYouth department councillor Adrián Trujillo, and representatives of the ‘Fusión Freak’ and ADICAE associations, David Durán and Javier Jiménez, have presented the II Manga, Videogames and Alternative EsteponGo! show, to be held on 7, 8 and 9 April at the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona.

The mayor has explained that the stars of this new edition will be the dubbing actors Pedro Tena, who succeeded Constantino Romero as the voice in Spain of ‘Darth Vader’, Neri Hualde who dubs Sansa Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’ and Alberto Hidalgo, who plays the character of ‘Vegeta’ in the ‘Dragon Ball’ TV series. The three actors will give a talk on Saturday, April 8, at 6 pm. They will later be available to sign autographs for attendees.

Trujillo said that this act will be especially emotional because it will be the last time that Alberto Hidalgo, who for 25 years has been the voice of ‘Vegeta’, will meet with the followers of this legendary series.

In addition, fans will be able to enjoy the biggest Star Wars inflatables in Europe over the 3 days, recreating characters such as R2D2, BB-8, or a defeated AT-AT.

Another of the areas which will be of most interest to visitors is the ‘interactive ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ photocall, which will be available for those who want to turn themselves into characters of these productions and take photographs.

Other interesting features at EsteponGo! are the biggest collections from the ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Back to the Future’ films, workshops by Rock and Freak, tournaments, animations, competitions such as Playback and Karaoke Talent Show, and the South Korean ‘Kpop’ dance related to Manga culture. Attendees will also be able to take in concerts by the groups ‘Gatetamon’, ‘Disney’ and ‘Anza Lilia’.

With regard to the informative part of EsteponGo!, there will be talks including one by photographer Jesús Alcaide and one by Andrés Lomeña on the ‘Otros Reinos’ novel. There will also be a presentation of ‘The Guardian of Fear’ by Toni Jiménez and in the ‘Artist Alley’ section, illustrator Madrilenian Cristina Vaquero and the spectacular drawings of Salvador Navarro.

This is the second year in which Estepona plays host to this original fair, which has more and more followers, and which hopes to exceed the 3000 visitors welcomed last year.
