The singer Oksana Kraynichuk will return next Friday June 16 to the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre in Estepona, where she will perform a tribute concert to one of the greatest jazz singers, Ella Fitzgerald, featuring performances of some of her best songs.
Ella Fitzgerald was the most popular jazz singer in the United States for more than half a century, winning 13 Grammy Awards and selling more than 40 million albums.
The Ukrainian pianist and singer presents a select programme with the best songs by the great jazz singer, Ella Fitzgerald, songs such as “All that Jazz”, “Paper moon”, “Night and day”, “I love Paris” a
and “Blue Moon”, among many others.
Oksana Kraynichuk was born in Ukraine. She has a degree in music from the State Vocational Conservatory of D.V. Sichinskyy. From the age of 8 she performed as singer and pianist in groups and as a soloist. She arrived in Spain in 2001, where she discovered jazz and learned to play with musicians from the Costa del Sol.
