Casares restaurant Kabuki Raw is celebrating the award of a Michelin Star for the second year running.
The restaurant’s chef, Luis Olarra, has put the achievement down to the work of his team, assuring them that it is as much theirs as his, and that his aim is to add a further star to this accolade.
Kabuki Raw is situated at 5-star Finca Cortesin Hotel, Golf Club and Spa, and serves a blend of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is one of seven restaurants in Spain operated by the Kabuki Group.
At the gala held in Girona Luis Olarra was amongst illustrious company as Malaga province renewed its seven Michelin stars, the other recipients being Dani García who renewed his two stars, with stars also going to José Carlos García, Diego del Río, Jaime Puigdengolas, Mauricio Giovanini and Diego Gallegos.
