Manilva’s Foreign Residents Department, headed by Councillor Dean Shelton, will host the III Manilva Brexit Seminar on Thursday 22 March, from 7 pm at the Villa Matilde, Sabinillas (in the park in front of Supersol).
The keynote speaker for this event will be the British Ambassador to Spain, Simon Manley, who will be the first British Ambassador to make an official visit to Manilva.
There will also be a number of other speakers who will discuss the latest developments in the long and drawn out negotiations for the future of the relationship between the UK and Europe once the UK leaves the EU.
The seminar aims to inform and reassure all those who will be potentially affected by Britain leaving the EU and to lay to rest some of the rumours and conjecture that still infects parts of the media and expat community.
