Armed robber arrested in Manilva


Guardia Civil officers have arrested the man believed to have carried out two robberies Last month. The first was at the Repsol petrol station in Sabinillas, followed a couple of days later by an armed robbery at the BBVA bank, also in Sabinillas, where he got away with the grand sum of 100 euros.

Officers from the Civil Guard, acting on information received, arrested a 40-year-old man at his place of work despite him changing his appearance and address, and a search of his home in Manilva, uncovered a fiream and clothing used in the robberies behind a false ceiling.

The accused has numerous previous convictions and is no stranger to prison.
