Areme Table Sale

The Foreign Residents’ Association of Estepona (AREME) are holding a Coffee Morning and Table Sale in the foyer of The Palacio de Congresos, Estepona, on the morning of Saturday March 17th, from 11.00 am to 2.00pm.
There will be a variety of items for sale including home made cakes and savouries, cards for all occasions, bric a brac, clothing, books and jewellery, to name but a few.
The money collected from the rental of the Tables all goes to local charities which desperately need our help – so please support us.
A member of the AREME Committee will be there for renewal of annual subscriptions or to enrol new members and to answer any questions. It only costs one Euro to join our organisation which is non political and was founded to be a voice in the community and to look after your interests within the municipality of Estepona.
Please come along, bring your friends with you, have tea or coffee and a sticky bun and browse around the tables for possible bargains – it is said that one man’s meat is another man’s poison – you never know what ‘meat’ YOU might find there!
Looking ahead – Estepona Foreign Residents’ Day this year will be on Sunday 15th April at the Palacio de Congresos, from 12 noon until 6.30pm. Various well known local charities will be represented and Foreign Residents from other parts of Europe, Morocco and from various parts of Central and South America have stands offering their countries’ products. Some also entertain us on stage with their traditional dances! Make sure you do not miss it by making a note of the date in your diary – NOW.
On Monday 7th May there will be the Foreign Residents’ Second Forum, also at the Palacio at 11.00am, following on from the huge success of the first one held on 6th February – speaker to be announced later.
