Areme meeting

The next Foreign Residents’ Association of Estepona (AREME) Forum will be held on Monday March 11 at the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona at 11 am and will focus on Spain’s new overseas asset reporting law. This is especially important for all Foreign Residents to attend if they are not to fall foul of the new law!

Do you know what you need to declare under Spain’s new overseas asset reporting law?

It could end up very costly if you do not get it right!

The new Ley 7/12 which came into effect in October 2012 requires anyone living in Spain to declare all assets owned overseas to the authorities by April 30th this year, or face tax penalties and fines that could in some cases exceed the asset value.

The Lifestyle Group will be giving a presentation with financial, legal and tax advisers on hand, in order to help us understand this new requirement.
The AREME Forum will take place on Monday March 11th at 11 am at the Palacio de Congresos, Estepona.

It is in your best interests to attend this important AREME Forum to find out if you are affected in any way.

Everyone is invited to attend, even if they are not yet members of The Foreign Residents’ Association of Estepona.

It only costs one Euro a year to be a member and we have recently seen the local bus service restored which AREME fought long and hard to achieve.
