Here is a date for your diary – Thursday 11th April. Age Concern are organising a coach trip to San Roque, a fascinating town steeped in history. You will visit all the main sights in the old quarter: the ancient Bull Ring, the CB Radio Museum, Carteia Archaeological Museum, the Governor’s Palace (Military Command HQ during the Sieges, Luis Ortega Bru Museum), and Saint Mary the Crowned Parish Church (exterior). You will also visit four of San Roque’s most traditional tapas bars where you can enjoy a tapa and a drink in each one. From San Roque the coach will go to Sotogrande so that people can stroll round the harbour .
Full details will be available shortly but the cost will be 10€ for volunteers and Friends of Age Concern, and 12€ for all other guests. To reserve places now call 951318234 or pop into our shop in Calle Zaragoza, Estepona during shop opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 1.30 pm and leave your details and number of seats required. Payment will be needed by 4th April through the shop and tickets will be provided.
Pick up points will be in San Pedro, Benavista (by the bowls club), Macdonalds (Estepona), Estepona bus staion, Estepona police station, Bahia Doarada (entrada 2), and Sabinillas by the petrol station.
