As part of Estepona’s ‘Bring the Streets to Life’ celebrations this weekend, the town will be celebrating its VIII Tapas Route, from Friday 31st March to Sunday 2 April, with 21 local establishments providing a drink and a tapa for 2 euros.
You can pick up a ‘passport’ from the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre or from the Tourist Office in Plaza de las Flores which lists all the participating hostelries, and which you can get stamped at each one you visit. If you have a minimum of 5 stamps this entitles you to entry to a prize draw with 21 prizes up for grabs, including theatre tickets, boat trips, dinners for two, a trip to Granada, amongst others. You can also vote for your favourite tapa with a prize for the winning restaurant or bar.
The Tapas Route begins at 8 pm on Friday, and from 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
